Today we put Aurora’s high chair together. Nancy & Steve brought it with them from Arizona when they visited months ago, and we decided she should be able to fit into it by now. She does!
She thought it was fun at first, but got bored when she realized it didn't actually do anything. So we decided to put her in the jogger stroller that Pam & Chad gave us and took a long walk around the neighborhood (another first). A much more interesting place to sit!
She can’t sit up on her own just yet, but she's strong enough now that strapped in her seats she does fine!

It is amazing how much things have changed in just the last few years. That is the coolest looking high chair. And the bungie cord bouncy chair thing that Jack jumps in...very cool. Hansen would have loved one of those.
Aurora sure is a cutie, I have only seen a few cutier (oh yeah, I do have a few kids of my own). You need to take a picture of her some rare time when she is not totally happy and smiles just so she believes you when you tell her about her cranky times.
Glad you were able to get the high chair together. Hope it wasn't too difficult. I had thought maybe Steve could have put it together while we were with you, but we ended up not being home much. Hope Aurora gets to like it better--maybe when she starts eating solids and connects the chair with food. I have many interesting pictures of Charlie in his high chair--eating and playing with his food of course. Nancy
One time Chuck took video of Aurora screaming and crying her head off, so that's been documented at least a little. It's just so much easier and more appealing to grab the camera when she's smiling! And Julian, your kids were seriuosly cute as babies.
The high chair is pretty cool and it was super easy to assemble. It's the "Nature's Purest High Chair - Hug Me" from Babies R Us. It'll be a couple of months before she begins to eat solids, but for now maybe we can use it so she can hang out in the kitchen with me while I cook.
Rora is so adorable. I just love reading your blog and catching up on the latest happenings in your household.
