Our Halloween fun came in the form of the one and only Kim Barnett. She could not bear to miss seeing Aurora as a Rooster, so she decided to stop by after work. Aurora surprised her by dressing as a KIM BARNETT when she arrived!!! That’s right, we just had a feeling the KB might be wearing a white t-shirt and denim shorts, and Aurora was prepared!
And here’s Aurora's “official” costume:
We don’t get any trick-or-treaters on our block since there are no sidewalks or streetlights, but I hear the mega mansions about a mile down the road stock up with all the good candy so everybody just drives down there anyway. That’s fine by us… Aurora’s already asleep and Chuck & I may actually watch a movie.Happy Halloween!

where's kim's makeup??! It looked so good and scary! (kind of, not really, but sure)
CUTEST ROOSTER/KIM EVER!!!
We're glad you're starting to feel better. That's so funny about dressing Aurora like Kim! We got a lot of cute little girl trick or treaters, but none as cute as the Rora Rooster.
LIke the Rora Rooster. Too bad she couldn't go out trick-or-treating and "crow" a bit. I wore my cat ears and tail to work. Yes, we were actually allowed a little bit of dressing up this year as long as we stayed out of sight of our families. Coworker Stephanie wore devil horns and red. Nancy
Cheezhead John says roosters are always MALE, LOL. But the costume still looks cool on her. Glad to hear that you have a great friend like Kim to help out, and that you are starting to feel better.
John is correct about roosters being male, but it's a Halloween costume! She is not male, but she IS our little rooster.
We avoided the trick or treaters by going to see the movie, Mama Mia. Great upbeat flick with superb photography in the Greek Islands & music from ABBA, along with terrific acting & fun plot. Moms/Grammas may enjoy the flick about a 21 year old daughter about to get married. Yes, its sort of like a look into the future, with Aurora several years older. LOL.
