Clark and I may have spent the past week cooped up at home, but Aurora's been getting out and about in a big way. This week she went on her first field trip! Her class took the bus to our local pumpkin patch and according to her it was "AWESOME!" Here are a few of the pics they sent me:

Aurora could not stop telling me how fun it was to jump off the hay bales. Of course, we'll have to go back and get photos of Aurora and Clark with pumpkins, but I love that her class gets to do so many fun things. Later this week her school is having their fall festival, so more fun is on the horizon.

What a fun field trip for Aurora and her classmates!
Great pre-school, she will be so far ahead of students in public schools. Nice opportunity for Aurora.
Hi Robin! She is definitely a smart girl and we have her in an excellent preschool. Once she starts kindergarten she will be going to a public school - we just happen to live in the best school district in Austin so public schools are great here. But she'd do well anywhere :)
I wouldn't be surprised if she is able to skip a grade or 2 along the way. She is a smart kido, and your parenting skills plus the pre-school years really help to expose her to a variety of learning situations at an early age. I recently read an article about an 18 year old graduating from college, and thought of Aurora.
Looks like Aurora had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch.
The pumpkin patch reminds me of Apple Hallor in Wisconsin. I had fun going there a few times with Robin and John. They have a pumpkin patch, maze and many other fun things for kids (and grownups) to do.
Yesterday, I took Zeland to the Sedona pool for the "Pumpkin Splash." Pumpkins are floated in the water and children can grab one and take it home. Zee had a lot of fun in the water and playing the games--pumpkin toss, bowling pumpkins, apple bobbing, decorating his pumpkin and bouncing in the pumpkin bouncy house. Granma Nancy had a lot of fun, too.
